Honda E-VO is expected to use the mobile power pack E:, the brand’s switchable battery system
Honda is developing several new electric two-wheelers, one of which is the WH8000D electric motorcycle. With type approvals already received, it is expected to be released soon. In the past, traditional bicycle manufacturers had many concepts, but only a few concepts saw the light of the day. Let’s take a look at some key details of the Honda WH8000D electric motorcycle, which looks quite promising.
Honda WH8000D/E-VO – What to expect?
The upcoming Honda E-VO takes advantage of the new retro Cafe Racer Design in a futuristic form. Some key highlights include a round headlight, an old-fashioned headlight fence, a round rod-end mirror, handlebars on the backrest and a single-piece tan seat. The bike has sleek aerodynamic side panels that ensure a futuristic look and feel. The panel creates a considerable enclosure that accommodates the battery pack and electric drivetrain.
The graphics are barely present, ensuring the simple outline of the electric motorcycle. Visually, there is only one two-tone theme with a few yellow stripes. Badge elements include “e-vo” and “Honda”. But the elegant blend of retro and futuristic design elements ensures a unique overview of the Honda E-VO. When launched, the bike is expected to offer more eye-catching color options.
Honda E-VO – Performance, Specifications
The Honda E-VO is equipped with an 8 kW (11 hp) motor and is positioned as an interesting city commuter motorcycle. 8 kW is continuous power, which means the peak power will be higher. In terms of performance, the Honda E-VO will be comparable to a 150cc petrol-powered motorcycle. Combined with its sleek aerodynamic profile, the Honda E-Vo can easily zip through city streets. Riding the expressway is also fun.

The size appears compact, probably similar to the size of a GROM or CFMOTO PAPIO. This may make bikes a popular choice for commuters and recreational riders. The Honda E-VO will be available in two variants. The basic variant will weigh 143 kg and a maximum speed of 110 km/h. The top variant weighs 157 kg and has a maximum speed of 120 km/h.
Swapable battery
While battery details have not been disclosed, the Honda E-VO may use the Honda deal’s power pack e:::. Honda has been developing its battery-switching infrastructure in multiple markets including India, Japan, Thailand and Indonesia. From a business perspective, to ensure a consumer worry-free experience, Electronic-VO may use the same battery-switching infrastructure.
When Honda launches the E-VO electric motorcycle, it remains to be seen. The unique comprehensive cafe racing design can appeal to those who are looking for a truly unique one. With competitive pricing and the convenience of battery swap technology, the Honda E-VO has the potential to become a bestseller.

As of now, Honda continues to make the majority of its revenue from gasoline-powered two-wheelers. However, the company is gradually increasing its focus on the electric vehicle sector. Some EV products are already sold in the global market, such as the Honda EM1 E, CUV E and ICON e. In India, Honda launched the Activa e: and Honda QC1.
