Honda NSX boss takes “Ferrari for the Poor” title picture

Not Ferrari

We found that the specific NSX to be sold is the result of that task. According to the list, the goal is more than just making a cheaper Ferrari look like. The Honda NSX is the only vehicle to check all these boxes. Its mid-engine layout and size closely reflects the size of the Ferrari 360 Modena, making it an ideal candidate. While the manual NSX today may be gaining more in the second-hand market than the Ferrari 360, things look completely different when this conversion occurs.

Incredible ideas for enthusiasts, the execution was surprisingly done well. Builders rely more than just imitating parts. Original Ferrari components such as mirror covers and lighting fixtures are purchased to maintain authenticity. While the NSX’s clear greenhouse still has a peek, the body has been completely reshaped, similar to the 360. It rides on a set of original work Meister S1 alloy wheels (17 inches in front and 18 inches in rear) that complement the redesigned exterior.

Inside, the cabin has been overhauled to look for details. The seats are wrapped in beautiful leather and red Alcantara, while the Ferrari’s Pride Horse logo adorns the seat back. Titanium doors and windowsills come with real Ferrari panels, and other styles include a Momo steering wheel, aftermarket infotainment upgrades, and carbon trim on the center console and dashboard.

Under the skin

The name of the car, known as the “Ferrari 361”, is a nod to its inspiration and conveniently matches the last three digits of the NSX’s chassis number (00t000361). While it may lack the firepower of the Ferrari V8, its naturally aspirated 3.0-liter VTEC V6 has tuned it to a considerable 296 horsepower (221 kW/300 PS). The power supply is sent to the rear wheels via a manual transmission, and a stainless steel valve exhaust system has been installed to ensure the soundtrack remains in appearance.
