Huawei-backed electric sedan gets new colors and more attractive price tag

Luxeed, a joint venture between Huawei and Chery, has unveiled a 2025 refresh of its S7 electric sedan, a year after its launch. The updated electric car brings fresh colors and lower prices, aiming to attract buyers who might otherwise flock to Tesla’s Model 3.
The Luxeed S7 was initially launched in November 2023, but got off to a slow start due to supply issues. However, after reintroducing the electric sedan to the Chinese market in April 2024 with some minor tweaks, the 2025 MY version is now available, aiming to boost customer demand and make a more significant splash in the highly competitive EV market.
