The three-row Hyundai Alcazar recently underwent a major styling makeover with a Creta-like interior and new features added to the facelifted model. However, the powertrain options remain the same. The new Hyundai Alcazar is priced at Rs 14.99 lakh (introductory price, ex-showroom) and is available in four trims – Executive, Prestige, Platinum and Signature. Interested buyers can choose from a host of new colours: Abyss Black Pearl, Atlas White, Fiery Red, Ranger Khaki, Solid Emerald Pearl, Solid Emerald Matt, Starry Night and Titan Grey Matte, and Atlas White with Abyss Black roof.
The new Hyundai Alcazar is powered by a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The former produces 157.8 hp and 253 Nm of torque and is mated to a 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, while the latter produces 114.4 hp and 250 Nm of torque and is mated to a 6MT or 6AT transmission. In addition, three driving modes are available – Sport, Comfort and Eco – as well as three traction control modes – Snow, Sand and Mud.
