Hyundai recently launched the facelifted Alcazar in India with prices ranging from Rs 14.99 lakh to Rs 21.55 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV is available in four trims (Executive, Prestige, Platinum and Signature) and two 1.5-litre engine options. It has undergone a major makeover and is now more elegant and premium with features like a larger grille, redesigned bumpers, dual-tone 18-inch alloy wheels, dual integrated screens and updated AC vents. However, keeping in mind the personal preferences of different buyers, Hyundai has offered various accessories for the updated Alcazar to add uniqueness. Let’s take a closer look at the specifications of the new Alcazar.
Hyundai Alcazar: powertrain
The Alcazar’s 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine produces 157.8bhp and 253Nm of torque and is mated to either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The 1.5-litre diesel engine, on the other hand, produces 114.4bhp and 250Nm of torque and is mated to either a 6MT or 6AT gearbox. The SUV has three driving modes – Sport, Comfort and Eco – and three traction control modes – Snow, Sand and Mud.
Modern Alcazar: Features
The Alcazar’s interior features a brown and dark blue color scheme and comes with a host of amenities such as automatic climate control, leatherette upholstery, connected technology, wireless charging, a panoramic sunroof, and Boss Mode. Six- and seven-passenger versions are still available, but the former comes with second-row captain’s chairs and the latter with a bench seat.
The SUV also comes with electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, six airbags, hill start assist, a tyre pressure monitoring system, digital key, front parking sensors, rain-sensing wipers and Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System).
Modern Alcazar: Colors
The Alcazar is available in a variety of exterior colors, including Atlas White with an Abyss Black roof, Fire Red, Ranger Khaki, Starry Night, Titan Grey Matte, Solid Emerald Pearl, and Solid Emerald Matte.
