The new Hyundai Alcazar is coming soon. While we have already seen its exterior images, now we finally get to see the interior of the Alcazar facelift. The interior shows that the upgraded Hyundai Alcazar has a Creta-style cabin, in addition to some new features. This means that the Alcazar facelift features a dual-screen setup – a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster.
Apart from this, the interior features a dual-tone brown (Noble Brown) and dark blue (Haze Navy) theme with brushed aluminum and gloss black accents. The air-conditioning vents are now located below the touchscreen, while the second row (6-seater version) features captain’s chairs. The seats come with better cushioning as well as foldable armrests, creating more space. Meanwhile, the 7-seater version is said to offer a seat tumble mechanism for easy entry and exit of the third row, while seat cushioning and support are improved. In addition, the front row comes with cooled seats, while the second row offers the convenience of wireless charging and dual USB Type-C charging ports.

As for the 6-seater model, all four individual seats are equipped with seat ventilation. Other configurations of the 6-seater model include adjustable thigh support and headrests (with side bolsters) for the second row seats, while the headrests for the third row seats are blue.
Apart from these features, the new Hyundai Alcazar also comes with a Bose music system, automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, multi-color ambient lighting, and eight-way power seats for the driver and front passenger. Moreover, the quilted pattern of the seats adds a premium feel. For safety, Hyundai can equip the new Alcazar with a 360-degree camera, 6 airbags, a tire pressure monitoring system, ABS with EBD, and Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System).
Hyundai Alcazar facelift: powertrain
Under the hood, the new Alcazar’s engine options (1.5-litre turbo-petrol/1.5-litre diesel) remain the same as the outgoing version. The turbo-petrol engine produces 157.8 hp and 253 Nm of torque and is mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The diesel engine, on the other hand, produces 114.4 hp and 250 Nm of torque and is mated to either a 6MT or 6AT gearbox. The SUV gets three driving modes – Sport, Comfort and Eco – and three traction control modes – Snow, Sand and Mud.
Hyundai Alcazar facelift: styling, colours
The Hyundai Alcazar facelift will be available in four variants and nine exterior colour options. The variants (Executive, Prestige, Platinum and Signature) will differ in terms of powertrain setup and selected seat configuration. As for colour options, the updated Alcazar will be available in the following colours: Abyss Black Pearl, Atlas White, Fiery Red, Ranger Khaki, Solid Emerald Pearl, Solid Emerald Matte, Starry Night and Titan Grey Matte, as well as Atlas White with Abyss Black roof.

Hyundai will launch the Alcazar facelift in India on September 9. Bookings have already started with a pre-sale price of Rs 25,000 and deliveries are expected to start in mid-September.
