With just a week left for the launch of the Hyundai Alcazar facelift, the company has revealed the car’s safety features. The facelifted Alcazar will be launched in India on September 9 with Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) features including Smart Cruise Control, Surround View Monitor, Blind Spot Monitoring, Forward Collision Warning and Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist and Driver Attention Warning.
The new Hyundai Alcazar comes standard with six airbags, hill start assist, electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, four disc brakes, and a tire pressure monitoring system. In addition, the upcoming model will also feature a digital key, front parking sensors, rain sensing wipers, hill descent control, and an electrochromic interior mirror. The model will feature a brown and dark blue dual-tone interior theme, while comfort features will include dual integrated screens, automatic climate control, seat ventilation with adjustable thigh support and headrests, and wireless charging. It will be available in both 6- and 7-seater configurations.

Hyundai Alcazar facelift: powertrain
The new Alcazar will offer the same engine options as the old model (1.5-liter turbo petrol/1.5-liter diesel). The turbo petrol engine produces 157.8 horsepower and 253 Nm of torque and is mated to a 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The diesel engine, on the other hand, produces 114.4 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque and is mated to a 6MT or 6AT transmission. In addition, three driving modes will be available – Sport, Comfort and Eco – as well as three traction control modes – Snow, Sand and Mud.

Bookings for the new Alcazar are now open at a pre-sale price of Rs 25,000. The model will be available in four variants and nine exterior colours.
