Hyundai Alcazar prices announced for various models

A few days ago, Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) launched the bold new Hyundai Alcazar, an upgraded version of its premium 6- and 7-seater SUVs. The new SUV starts at Rs 14.99 lakh for the 1.5L Turbo GDi petrol model and Rs 15.99 lakh for the 1.5L U2 CRDi diesel model (ex-showroom). However, the prices of all the variants have just been announced. Let’s take a look at the detailed prices and configurations of this car.

A new look

The new Hyundai Alcazar has been carefully designed to be more imposing on the road. Its spacious, wider and taller body ensures it has the domineering look of an SUV. The grille and bumpers have been completely redesigned, and the rear end has also been given a new look. The interior has also been refreshed with premium trim and a host of new features.

Engine and Transmission Options

The Alcazar is available with two engine options:

1. 1.5L Turbocharged GDi Petrol – Output 160 PS, torque 253 Nm
2. 1.5L U2 CRDi Diesel – Output 116 PS, torque 250 Nm

Both engine options are mated to either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

The new Alcazar comes with a ton of new features and updates compared to the previous generation. It comes with some first-in-class features and best-in-class features.
