Hyundai has now launched the Aura CNG variant with a twin-cylinder setup. The new Aura CNG is currently available in a single E variant at a price of Rs 7.49 lakh ex-showroom. The new model is called the Aura Hy-CNG E and Hyundai says it is a direct response to India’s growing demand for more fuel-efficient and eco-friendly vehicles. The Aura E with the factory-fitted CNG kit features a ‘leak-proof’ design, a CNG switch and a nozzle to assist in CNG refilling.
The Hyundai Aura Hy-CNG E is the third car to feature a 1.2-litre dual-fuel (petrol plus CNG) engine mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The unit produces 68bhp at 6,000rpm and 95.2Nm of peak torque at 4,000rpm. According to Hyundai, the model has a fuel economy of 28.4km/kg.

Hyundai Aura Hy-CNG E: Features
In terms of features, the Aura Hy-CNG E is equipped with a 3.5-inch speedometer, front power windows, height-adjustable driver’s seat, adjustable headrests for rear passengers, and exterior Z-shaped LED taillights. For safety, the car is equipped with six airbags, three-point seatbelts (all seats), and seatbelt reminders (all seats), among others.
The current price range of Hyundai Aura is Rs 6.49 lakh to Rs 9.05 lakh (ex-showroom). The car is available in four variants: E, S, SX and SX (O).

Separately, Hyundai will launch the facelifted Alcazar in India on September 9. The model will be available in four variants and nine exterior colours. Bookings for the new Alcazar are ongoing and prices start at Rs 25,000.
