Before we delve into price predictions, let’s take a look at its battery pack, range, and performance figures. The Hyundai Creta Electric comes with two battery pack options – 42kWh and 51.4kWh, paired with 135bhp and 171bhp electric motors mounted on the front axle respectively. Hyundai claims that the MIDC range of the Creta Electric with 42kWh and 51.4kWh batteries is 390 km and 473 km respectively. When equipped with a 51.4kWh battery pack, the electric car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds.
The new Hyundai electric SUV supports AC and DC fast chargers. It only takes 4 hours to charge the battery from 10% to 100% using an 11kW AC charger, and it only takes 58 minutes to charge the battery from 10% to 80% using a DC fast charger. Buyers will have in-car payment options and access to multiple remote charging features through the myHyundai app.

Hyundai Creta Electric will be available in four variants – Executive, Smart, Premium and Excellence. The smaller 42kWh battery pack is expected to be available in only three trims – Executive, Smart and Premium. A larger 51.4kWh battery pack is likely to be available on Premium and Excellence models. The entry-level Executive variant with all the basic amenities is estimated to be priced as low as Rs 16.50-17 lakh.
There is likely to be a significant price gap between the Executive and Smart variants, with the latter expected to cost around Rs 18 lakh (with 42kWh battery) – Rs 20 lakh (with 51.4kWh battery). The premium version with a smaller battery pack is likely to be priced around Rs 20 lakh. The top-end Premium variant with a bigger battery and all the goodies is estimated to be priced close to Rs 22 lakh or slightly more.
