Hyundai CRETA updated with new variants and features,

Hyundai and new EX (O) and SX Premium variants extend the CRETA series

Hyundai Creta is now updated with two new ones – EX (O) and SX Premium. These additions are designed to provide customers with more options and pricing options, further enhancing Creta’s appeal in the compact SUV sector.

The new EX(O) variant is positioned as a more functional version of the standard EX trim. Price is Rs. 1.5 liter petrol manual version 12.977 crore (former showroom), rose to Rs. Diesel automatically selected Rs 1.59,600. A key highlight of the variant is the inclusion of a panoramic sunroof, a feature that has become increasingly sought after by buyers in this segment.

At the high end, the SX Premium variant offers a richer feature package, including ventilated front seats, 8-way power-adjustable driver seats, Bose Audio Audio System for premium 8 speakers, and leather upholstery. These features are already available in the SX interior. SX Premium is priced at Rs. A gasoline manual of $16.18 billion, sold for Rs. Rs 17.76 lakh of diesel manual.

Functional enhancement

In addition to introducing new variants, Hyundai has also made some functional updates to the existing decoration. The top-tier SX (O) variant now features a rain sensor and a wireless charging pad for rear passengers, enhancing occupants’ convenience.

Another notable addition is the smart keys with a motion sensor, now available from the S(O) variant, adding a layer of convenience and safety to the SUV.

In terms of aesthetics, Hyundai has also expanded the availability of its popular Titan Gray Matte and Starry Night Choice. Previously, these finishes were limited to choosing higher variants.

Engine and Transmission Options

CRETA continues to offer three powertrain options:

  • 1.5-liter natural aspirated gasoline engine
  • 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine
  • 1.5-liter diesel engine

Transmission options include a 6-speed manual transmission, a smart variable transmission (IVT) for a naturally aspirated petrol engine, a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) for turbosc, and a 6-speed automatic transmission in the diesel variant.

Pricing and positioning

With the updated lineup, the price of the Hyundai Creta is now in the middle of Rs. Rs 1.11 million and Rs. Rs 2.041 lakh (former showroom), offering buyers a variety of options for various features, performance and price points. These additions and updates reflect Hyundai’s ongoing efforts to fresh and competitive CRETA as part of its continued witness to fierce competition.
