Hyundai Exter, Grand i10 Nios, i20 and other models are popular

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL), the second largest car manufacturer in India, offers multiple products in almost every segment. This factor makes it popular among budget-conscious and premium car enthusiasts. Hyundai cars are known for being feature-rich and affordable. Hence, people who love to indulge in luxury tend to opt for these cars. In August 2024, customers can avail attractive discounts on Hyundai cars. These benefits are available in the form of corporate bonuses, exchanges, and corporate bonuses. Similar to the previous month, the Creta, Creta N Line, i20 N Line, and the flagship Ioniq 5 are the only models that are not discounted in August. Here are the available discount offers broken down by model.

Hyundai Alcazar: discounts in August 2024

This month, both petrol and diesel versions of the Hyundai Alcazar are available with discounts of up to Rs 90,000. The Alcazar is available in two engine variants: a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine with 158 hp and a choice of manual and dual-clutch automatic transmissions, or a 1.5-litre diesel engine with 113 hp and a choice of manual and torque converter. It is available in six- and seven-seater configurations. The Hyundai SUV will soon undergo a mid-term update.

Hyundai i20: discounts in August 2024

Hyundai is offering discounts of up to Rs 50,000 on the manual transmission variants of the i20, while the CVT (automatic) variants offer savings of up to Rs 35,000. As for the prices, the hatchback is priced between Rs 7.04 lakh and Rs 11.21 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom. The 1.2-litre petrol engine in the standard i20 produces 82 hp of maximum power and 115 Nm of torque, while the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine in the N-Line variant produces 118 hp and 172 Nm of torque.

Hyundai Exter: August 2024 discounts

For the month of August, a cash discount of Rs 20,000 is available on the Hyundai Exter. However, there is no offer on the entry-level EX and EX(O) models. Mechanically, the model comes with a 1.2-litre Kappa 4-cylinder naturally aspirated (NA) petrol engine that makes 82 hp and 113.8 Nm of torque, mated to either a five-speed manual or a five-speed AMT gearbox. The micro-SUV also gets a CNG version with slightly less power at 68 hp and 95.2 Nm of torque, mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. The Citroen C3 and Tata Punch rival is priced between Rs 6.13 lakh and Rs 10.43 lakh ex-showroom.

Hyundai Tucson: August 2024 discounts

For the petrol and diesel versions of the Tucson, the discounts are Rs 25,000 and Rs 50,000 respectively. The models are powered by a 2.0-litre petrol or 2.0-litre diesel engine, which outputs 154 hp or 184 hp respectively. Both models come with a six-speed automatic transmission as standard, but only the diesel version can be optioned with all-wheel drive. The Tucson retails between Rs 29.02 lakh and Rs 35.94 lakh ex-showroom.

Hyundai Verna: Discounts for August 2024

The Hyundai Verna is currently offering discounts of up to Rs 40,000, including a cash discount of Rs 15,000, an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000 and a scrappage subsidy of Rs 5,000. It is worth noting that these offers are available on all Verna models. In the Indian market, the Verna competes with top sedans such as the Virtus, Honda Civic and Skoda Slavia. Powertrain options include a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine and a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine. Prices start at Rs 11 lakh and go up to Rs 17.42 lakh (all ex-showroom Delhi).

Hyundai Venue: August 2024 discounts

Hyundai is offering value benefits on the Venue including up to Rs 60,000 on the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol MT powertrain, up to Rs 55,000 on the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol DCT and up to Rs 50,000 on the 1.2-litre NA petrol models. No benefits are offered on the 1.5-litre diesel models. The Venue N Line has a standard discount of Rs 55,000 on all variants. Prices start at Rs 7.94 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base E petrol manual model.

Hyundai Grand i10 Nios: Discounts in August 2024

This August, petrol AMT models can be availed with discounts of up to Rs 43,000, while CNG and petrol MT models can be availed with discounts of up to Rs 53,000. The Grand i10 Nios is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine mated to an AMT or a 5-speed manual gearbox. There is an option to get a factory-fitted CNG kit on the same engine. The petrol-powered model produces 82 hp and 113 Nm of torque, while the CNG model produces 68 hp and 95 Nm of torque.
