As a driver-focused performance car, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N is a stunner. It delivers up to 641 horsepower, which rivals supercars, while remaining practical and roomy enough for a family. The downside to this performance is that its battery pack drains quickly. Thankfully, Hyundai has addressed the issue for owners.
The automaker has confirmed that people who buy or lease a 2025 Ioniq 5 N in the United States will have the option of getting a free ChargePoint Home Flex Level 2 charger or $450 in charging credits to use public charging through ChargePoint.

Anyone who picks up the keys to a new Ioniq 5 N will have 90 days from the date of purchase or lease to redeem a coupon code for a home charger or ChargePoint credits. Existing 2025 Ioniq 5 N owners and lessees will also receive a coupon that can be redeemed for a home charger or ChargePoint credits.
Those who choose the home charger will have to pay for installation, but Hyundai will take care of the whole process. The charger is the same as the ones for other Hyundai models, but has been updated with a light blue paint job and N logo. It normally costs $549 and works seamlessly with the ChargePoint app. Hyundai says it charges at 50 amps and can add 37 miles (59 km) of range per hour of charging.
Customers who choose the $450 credit will need to redeem it within 90 days and have two years to use it.
“At Hyundai, we recognize that making the move to a high-performance electric vehicle is a big decision for enthusiasts. These two great free offers will make it even easier to get behind the wheel of the IONIQ 5 N,” said Olabisi Boyle, senior vice president of product planning and mobility strategy at Hyundai Motor North America. “The IONIQ 5 N sets a new bar for all-electric performance, track capability and driver engagement. Allowing customers to choose between charging at a free home charger or charging for free is part of our commitment to meeting the needs of consumers on the road to electrification.”
