Hyundai Verna, Exter, Venue and more get year-end discounts

Hyundai is ending the year with irresistible deals on some of its popular models such as the Verna, Exter, Venue and the all-electric Ioniq 5. These benefits include cash discounts and redemption bonuses, depending on a variety of factors including location and dealership. If you’re planning to buy a Hyundai this month, now is the perfect time to explore the year-end deals in detail.

Hyundai Ioniq 5

The Ioniq 5, Hyundai’s second electric car after the Kona Electric, is available with generous discounts of up to Rs 2 lakh this month. The electric vehicle is built on the advanced Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) and is equipped with a rear-wheel drive electric motor and a 72.6 kWh battery. This combination produces 215bhp and 350Nm, with an ARAI-certified range of up to 631 kilometers. The electric car is currently priced at Rs 46.05 lakh (ex-showroom).

Hyundai Tucson

The Tucson, which recently secured an impressive 5-star rating in the Bharat NCAP crash test, is now available with attractive offers worth up to Rs 85,000, including currency benefits of up to Rs 60,000 and exchange benefits of up to Rs 25,000.

The Hyundai Tucson is available with a choice of petrol or diesel engines to suit different performance preferences. The 2.0-litre petrol engine develops 154bhp and 192Nm, while the 2.0-litre diesel engine develops a more powerful 184bhp and 416Nm. Both models come with an automatic torque converter transmission, a 6-speed gearbox for the petrol engine and an 8-speed gearbox for the diesel engine. It’s worth noting that top-end diesel models can be equipped with an all-wheel drive (AWD) system. The Tucson retails in the range of Rs 29.02 lakh to Rs 35.94 lakh (ex-showroom).

Hyundai will offer attractive discounts of up to Rs 80,000 on the Verna from December 2024, depending on the model selected. These savings include cash discounts of up to Rs 35,000 and exchange benefits of up to Rs 25,000. The car also comes with a slew of special offers that may bring the price down by an additional Rs 20,000.

Mechanically, the Verna is available in two petrol engine options. The first is a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine that produces 158 horsepower and is mated to either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed DCT gearbox. The second option is a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine that produces 113 horsepower and is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT. The sedan is priced between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 17.48 lakh (all ex-showroom).

Hyundai Grand i10 Nyos

The Grand i10 Nios offers savings of up to Rs 45,000 by the end of the year, which includes a cash discount of up to Rs 45,000 and an exchange offer of Rs 20,000. For government employees, Hyundai’s ‘Pride of India’ campaign also offers additional benefits of up to Rs 3,000.

The Grand i10 Nios hatchback is powered by a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 82 hp and 113.8 Nm of torque. When using a dual-fuel setup (petrol and CNG), the car’s output drops to 68bhp and 95.2Nm. The petrol engine comes with either a five-speed manual gearbox or a five-speed automatic gearbox, while the CNG variant only comes with a five-speed manual gearbox. The car is priced at Rs 5.92 lakh ex-showroom and goes up to Rs 8.56 lakh.

Hyundai i20

A total saving of up to Rs 65,000 is available on the i20 hatchback this month. The standard version comes with cash discounts of up to Rs 50,000 and exchange benefits of up to Rs 15,000. On the other hand, the sporty i20 N Line comes with cash discounts of up to Rs 25,000 and exchange benefits of up to Rs 10,000.

The Hyundai i20 is powered by a 1.2-liter petrol engine that delivers 82 hp and 115 Nm of torque. In comparison, the i20 N Line comes with a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 118bhp and 172Nm. The i20 is priced between Rs 7.04 lakh and Rs 11.21 lakh. Both are ex-showroom figures.

The Hyundai Venue SUV is eligible for exchange bonus of up to Rs 15,000 and cash discount of up to Rs 45,000. Customers can save up to Rs 40,000 in cash on the N-Line variant, but the exchange benefits remain unchanged. A 1.2-litre petrol engine, a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine are the three powertrain options available at the venue. Performance-oriented N Line models are powered by a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. In terms of price, the SUV is priced between Rs 7.94 lakh and Rs 13.53 lakh (ex-showroom).

Hyundai Alcazar (before facelift)

You can save up to Rs 60,000 on the pre-facelift Hyundai Alcazar this month, depending on stock availability. This discount package includes cash rebates and redemption bonuses. Hyundai Alcazar is available with two engine options: 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel. The turbo-petrol engine delivers 158 hp and 253 Nm and is mated to either a six-speed manual gearbox or a seven-speed DCT gearbox. The diesel engine, on the other hand, produces 113 hp and 250 Nm of torque and comes with either a six-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.

Hyundai Ora

This December, the sedan is available with discounts of up to Rs 53,000 on select models, including cash rebates of up to Rs 35,000 and exchange benefits of up to Rs 10,000.

Mechanically, the Aura is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine with an optional factory-fitted CNG package. In CNG mode, the engine produces 68bhp and 95Nm, while in petrol mode, it produces 82bhp and 114Nm. The sedan is priced between Rs 6.94 lakh and Rs 9.05 lakh (ex-showroom).

Hyundai Exter

Hyundai Exter is available with discounts of up to Rs 40,000, which includes cash benefits of up to Rs 35,000 and exchange benefits worth Rs 5,000. This compact SUV is powered by a 1.2-liter Kappa 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that outputs 82 hp and 113.8 Nm, mated to a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT gearbox. There’s also a CNG variant, offering 68bhp and 95.2Nm, mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. Prices of the Exter range from Rs 6 lakh to Rs 10.43 lakh (ex-showroom).
