dallas – The International Association of Exhibitions & Events® (IAEE) has announced this year’s scholarship and grant recipients for its Educational Assistance Program, which is designed to support the ongoing journey of experienced exhibition & event professionals as well as industry newbies and secondary school students interested in joining the program industry.
“By investing in ongoing education and skills development, we not only support individual growth but strengthen the foundation of our industry,” said Marsha Flanagan, M.Ed., CEM, president and CEO of IAEE. “We congratulate this year’s outstanding recipients for their dedication to learning and whose excellence will undoubtedly shape the future of exhibitions and events.”
this Helen Brett™ Scholarship Created by Robert Kolinek, CEM, CMP, and named after his grandmother, a pioneer in the trade show industry. It is designed to assist individuals who are exploring studies in exhibition and event management with the ultimate goal of advancing their careers in the field. This year’s application and selection process resulted in the award of 21 scholarships: 14 to undergraduate students and 7 to graduate students.

this IAEE DE&I Scholarship It was founded by Rochelle Richardson, CEM, IAEE member, who is passionate about helping children succeed. The purpose of this scholarship is to promote and increase the visibility of the exhibition, convention and business events industry and to provide high school graduates from diverse backgrounds, underserved, economically and socially disadvantaged groups an equal opportunity to complete a two- or four-year college education program.
