
ICOTY 2025: The much-awaited results of the latest edition of the Indian Car of the Year (ICOTY) awards have been announced after rigorous evaluation by a panel of eminent automotive journalists. The winners of all three prestigious categories – Indian Car of the Year, Premium Car of the Year and Green Car of the Year – have been announced. Mahindra Thar Roxx won the title of Indian Car of the Year, while MG Windsor won the title of Green Car of the Year.
Mercedes-Benz E-Class: Key specifications
The redesigned E-Class has a striking appearance, with a striking grille with 3D badging and advanced LED headlights. It also showcases smooth, flush door handles and elegant 18-inch wheels. At the rear, new LED taillights feature the iconic three-pointed star pattern, complemented by a chrome bumper. Customers can choose from five exterior colors: Tech Silver, Polar White, Graphite Grey, Nautical Blue and Obsidian Black.
The E-Class comes in two variants: the petrol-powered E 200 and the diesel-powered E 220d. The E 200 is equipped with a 1,999cc four-cylinder turbocharged engine that delivers 201 hp and 320 Nm of torque. The E 220d is powered by a 1,950cc four-cylinder turbodiesel engine that produces 194bhp and 440Nm of torque. Both models feature a 48V mild-hybrid system, which includes an integrated starter-generator, delivering an additional 23bhp and 205Nm of torque for up to 30 seconds. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a nine-speed automatic transmission.
The E-Class’s interior features a revised dashboard with a 14.4-inch central infotainment display and a 12.2-inch digital instrument panel. Additionally, front-seat passengers have access to a unique 12.3-inch screen. Other notable features include a Burmester 4D surround sound system, selfie camera, panoramic sunroof, four-zone climate control and wireless charging pads for front and rear passengers.
