Ineos Grenadier didn’t look strong enough so CTC has been fixed

Ineos may have rolled out an extensive customization program for the Grenadier, but that’s hardly stopping the modding crowd from working their magic. Chelsea Truck Company gave the off-road vehicle a fresh makeover, giving it a custom body kit that looks ready for the battlefield and a redesigned interior with Nappa leather upholstery.

The INEOS Grenadier Series II Expedition is inspired by the tuner’s wide-body Land Rover Defender. The exterior modifications were designed by Kahn and feature a “3D Military Textured Matte Black” finish, along with exposed carbon fiber parts to set it apart from the otherwise cream-colored bodywork.

The Grenadier features bolt-on fender extensions, a new grille, a raised hood with integrated LEDs, redesigned front and rear bumpers with larger air intakes, a roof spoiler and lighting of electronic retractable side steps.

The SUV is equipped with matte black 20-inch RS Forged deep-concave wheels wrapped with 37-inch all-terrain tires. These, combined with 30 mm (1.2 in) of suspension lift, further increased the Grenadier’s ground clearance. Under the hood is the original BMW 3.0-liter in-line six-cylinder petrol engine producing 282 hp (210 kW / 286 PS) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque.

The cabin features Vermilion Nappa leather upholstery, including a pair of new sports seats front and rear. Unlike Mansoori who covered everything in bright hues, Chelsea Trucking didn’t make any changes to the dashboard and headliner.

The example pictured is based on the 2023 Ineos Grenadier, which is currently on the market for a whopping £93,999.99 ($122,123) and has a range of 700 miles (1,127 kilometers). According to Chelsea Trucks, the prototype marks the start of a “completely in-house bespoke modification program” for the Ineos Grenadier, inviting owners to benefit from its services.

This isn’t the first time Chelsea have danced with the Grenadiers either. A few months ago, the British company unveiled another custom Grenadier with 35-inch wheels, fender extensions, a unique grille, snorkels, and an interior covered in rich brown leather.
