InterContinental Hotels Group operates across the Middle East and Asia

InterContinental Hotels Group Hotels & Resorts InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) announced the signing of Vignette Collection, Union Han, and Istanbul Karakoy, marking the brand’s first arrival in Türkiye. The converted hotel, owned by Cortex Turizm, will become the city’s 16th IHG hotel once it opens in the second half of 2025.

Vignette Collection, Union Han, Karakoy, Istanbul It represents the continuation of IHG’s growth momentum in Turkey, bringing the total number of hotels opened and signed in the country to 45. Latest signing also joins growing portfolio Vignette collection InterContinental Hotels Group has nearly 900 hotels worldwide and plans to increase its number to 100 within 10 years, further consolidating IHG’s luxury and lifestyle portfolio and becoming one of the largest hotel groups in the world.

Housed in the historic Tutun Han building, the hotel features 51 unique, stylish rooms, a full-time artisan bakery and specialty gourmet restaurant, as well as premium wellness facilities including a spa.

New Vignette hotel to open in Japan

iconic Toya Windsor Hot Spring Resort Soon to join the Vignette Collection brand, this is the second hotel in Japan for InterContinental Hotels Group’s (IHG) newest luxury and lifestyle brand and first collection brand.

This strategic cooperation with Windsor Hotels International Co., Ltd. marks InterContinental Hotels Group’s entry into the famous Lake Toya region of Hokkaido, the country’s second largest island and a top destination for domestic and foreign tourists.

This picturesque, 386-room building is a traditional and prestigious landmark owned by Meiji Shipping Group and will serve as Hotel Windsor Toya – Vignette Collection over the next few months.

IHG’s Vignette Collection brand is known for its distinctive hotels that celebrate local culture and offer unique experiences, perfectly aligned with the hotel’s heritage and commitment to hospitality excellence. Guests will enjoy its prime location overlooking Lake Toya and an array of world-class facilities, while appreciating its rich and storied history, which dates back to 1993 and includes hosting the 34th G8 Summit.

The island of Hokkaido is an idyllic place known for its beautiful scenery, hot springs, and natural activities such as fishing, hiking, and camping. With its unique hilltop vantage point, the Vignette Collection Hotel Toya will be the only hotel to offer guests views of the Pacific Ocean and Lake Toya, the crater lake within Shikotsu Toya National Park.

Featuring eight meeting rooms, nine food and beverage outlets, three retail outlets, a wedding chapel and wellness and entertainment facilities including a gym, salon and spa, the hotel will attract a variety of visitors including leisure guests, business travelers and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) groups. IHG’s global reach and IHG One Rewards loyalty program will further enhance its appeal in domestic and international markets.

Toya Windsor Hotel Vignette Collection will be the second Vignette Collection hotel opened by InterContinental Hotels Group in Japan, following the Ritz-Carlton Royal Hotel Osaka, which is already part of the IHG system.

IHG just launched new lifestyle brand Atwell Suites In China, it’s aimed squarely at the young crowd.

As post-90s and post-00s generations become savvy and travel frequently, attracting younger guests has become a priority for hotel groups and brands, not to mention incentive program makers looking to wow young recipients – who typically prefer to relax and Leisure. Luxury, pursuing diverse and personalized accommodation experience.

Atwell Suites adopts the design concept of “New Territory Home”, using natural and warm earth tones, and adding plants and artwork to create a sense of comfort and beauty. Instead of a typical lobby, the “living room” features an open layout centered around a one-stop service island connecting the retail space and welcome drinks area.

Guest rooms (known as “bedrooms”) are designed with a youthful appeal, featuring comfortable private spaces, workspaces and smart room technology to meet the needs of younger guests. The hotel’s restaurant creates a relaxed, social atmosphere, and the “Social Hub” lounge area features fitness equipment as well as comfortable seating and gaming consoles.
