Interesting Find: 1956 Ford Thunderbird Convertible

In this episode Among the fun finds on AutoHunter Cinema, we explore a stunning 1956 Ford Thunderbird, Ford’s answer to the Chevrolet Corvette and an icon of the Golden Age of American automotive design. This Thunderbird has been restored to its original glory through a frame-off nut-and-bolt restoration, retaining its original Peacock Blue color, fender skirts, and hardtop and softtop.

Under the hood is a 312ci V8 engine mated to a Ford-O-Matic transmission. This Thunderbird has been cherished by its Florida owner since 2007 and just sold at the Barrett-Jackson 2024 Palm Beach Auction for $49,500.
