LAS VEGAS — ISSA North America 2024, presented by Informa Markets in partnership with ISSA, the global cleaning industry association, brings together the global cleaning industry in November at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center with more than 180,000 square feet of exhibit space.
This year was the first time the show was held in the same location as the previous edition and overall growth was good, reflecting the success of the location and venue.
“ISSA Show North America 2024 saw a 5% year-on-year increase in exhibitor numbers, the highest level since the return to in-person events and an encouraging indication of the industry’s demand for a platform for continued face-to-face contact,” said show director Ed. Nichols. “We also hosted 138 new companies (43% more than last year), which is an incredible indicator of growth in new market interest and activity.”
Promote exhibitor participation growth
Nichols said the increase in exhibitors in 2023 is due to the ISSA Show team improving the attendee and exhibitor experience and programming.
“As a business, our strategy is focused on ensuring maximum customer experience and return on investment, and maintaining a high floor density ratio through active engagement. An ever-expanding range of popular educational topics presented by the best in the industry continues to drive engagement across industries, “Nichols said.

Some new and improved aspects of this year’s show include curated experiences for each of the show’s key audience groups, including educational and networking events, increasing opportunities for purposeful business connections and learning.
“The sold-out networking reception for Building Services Contractors in the Foundation Room, a new event we have hosted to promote peer engagement, was well received. There has been a significant increase in Building Services Contractors participating in ISSA Education, making it the second consecutive year ISSA is the largest consumer of education,” Nichols said.
International data shows strength
The ISSA Show noted continued strong international participation, particularly from China and Asia Pacific markets, which is particularly attractive to the show’s dealer participants.
“The top international countries in attendance are Canada, Mexico, Japan, Germany and China, and their densely populated areas continue to seek new developments to support these areas’ focus on the cleanliness and overall health of their people,” Nichols said.
Key Takeaways for 2024
In addition to recognizing the success of hosting the show in Las Vegas, which has seen an increase in the number of new exhibitors and attendees, Nichols said a key takeaway from this year’s show reinforced the importance of personalization.
“The success of carefully curated attendee opportunities and creating a ‘show within a show’ has created a roadmap to continue growing visitor numbers across all attendee segments,” said Nichols. “Our commitment to the Facilities Solutions segment We are excited about participation, especially from the healthcare and education sectors, and we will continue to provide resources for each audience segment to ensure everyone can create their own event experience based on their needs and interests, region, work type and more. “
Looking to the future
According to Nichols, pre-order interest for the 2025 version of the show has increased by 19% compared to the 2024 version.
“There’s a lot of optimism about the industry’s future and exhibitors are eager to get a head start,” Nichols said. “Dealer demographics provide clear insights into events and opportunities in 2025, so we may be planning additional product launches next year.”
The ISSA Show North America will return to the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas in 2025, with educational events taking place November 10-13 and exhibitions open November 11-13.
