Jaguar Land Rover India’s first half sales increased 36% year-on-year

Jaguar Land Rover India sold a total of 3,214 vehicles in the first six months of this fiscal year, a year-on-year increase of 36%. The best-ever half-year results were driven by 41% growth in the second quarter of FY25 and 31% growth in the first quarter. Defender and Range Rover were in high demand during this period due to localized production of the entire Range Rover range. Furthermore, Jaguar Land Rover India’s order book has increased by 15% in the first half of FY25 compared to last year. According to Jaguar Land Rover India, local production of Range Rover and Range Rover Sport has led to a 60% increase in bookings. In the first half of FY25, Defender SUV sales increased by 75% year-on-year.

Range Rover Ranthambore Edition: Exterior and Interior

The special edition features a unique deep black exterior tint with a shimmering crimson gloss that pays homage to the tiger’s powerful hue. Tiger stripe-like anthracite and Corinthian bronze further enhance the design. The car has eye-catching 23-inch dark gray forged wheels with Corinthian bronze accents.

The interior of the Ranthambore Edition is upholstered in light Perlino semi-aniline leather and coriander leather with contrast stitching. The innovative embroidery on the seats is inspired by the vibrant striped theme on the tiger’s spine. Other notable touches include elegant chrome highlights, custom diffuser pads, and a white ceramic dial.

Range Rover Ranthambore Edition: Features and Powertrain

Features of the car include 13.1-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, digital LED headlights with DRLs, 11.4-inch rear touchscreen, 13.7-inch digital instrument cluster, 35 speakers with active noise cancellation, 1,600W Meridian Signature sound system, Cab air purification and 3D surround camera system.

The SUV is equipped with a 3.0-liter six-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that produces a maximum power of 394 hp and a peak torque of 550 Nm. It comes with an eight-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
