Jaguar Type 00 concept car unveiled, production model will debut at the end of 2025

Jaguar has unveiled the Type 00 concept car, marking a bold new direction for the brand with a revamped identity and ideology. The concept car was unveiled during Miami Art Week in South Florida as a design vision for the future of Jaguar’s product line. This vision will be embodied in the production-spec four-door GT, which is expected to hit global markets by the end of 2025.

The design of the Jaguar Type 00 has become a focus of discussion. The concept showcases the signature long hood, fastback silhouette with sloping roofline, and flush body panels for a seamless appearance. Notable features include 23-inch patterned alloy wheels, a glassless rear tailgate, uninterrupted silhouette and a sculpted panoramic roof.

In addition to its eye-catching exterior, Jaguar is also introducing two unique paint schemes – Miami Pink and London Blue – that further emphasize its bold design language.

In terms of interior, Type 00 adopts a low-key and simple style. The width of the cabin is highlighted by hand-finished brass lines. Innovative elements include butterfly doors, a floating center console known as the “spine” and deployable dual screens on the dashboard.

Other interior highlights include seamless wool-blend seat upholstery, clever storage solutions and hidden ambient lighting, ensuring a sophisticated yet functional space. The design concept prioritizes simplicity while retaining a luxurious touch.

Performance and charging

Jaguar has provided preliminary details on the Type 00’s expected performance. According to the WLTP cycle, the production-spec version is expected to have a cruising range of up to 770 kilometers. In addition, fast charging technology will enable electric vehicles to gain a cruising range of 321 kilometers in just 15 minutes, enhancing their practicality for long-distance travel.
