Jeep Compass, Meridian get discounts up to Rs 2.5 lakh

To celebrate its eighth anniversary in India, Jeep has announced attractive discounts on the Compass and Meridian SUVs. The latter offers cash savings of up to Rs 2 lakh, while the former is offered with a maximum discount of Rs 2.5 lakh. Regular customers, business customers and car swappers can also avail these offers. Jeep India is also offering attractive offers on the Wrangler and Grand Cherokee SUVs. However, these offers are applicable only on select models and only for walk-in customers. According to the company, all the above offers are valid till the end of the month.

2024 Jeep India Discounts: Offers for Existing Customers

Existing Jeep customers can enjoy a 22% reduction in labor costs for routine maintenance and a 7.8% reduction in labor costs for body repairs, vehicle maintenance services, and auto repairs. They only have to pay 78% of the total labor cost of FIAT scheduled maintenance services. However, these after-sales offers are only valid until August 17, 2024.

Jeep Compass, Meridian: Key specifications

Both SUVs are powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine with 168 hp and 350 Nm of torque, mated to either a 9-speed torque converter or a 6-speed manual gearbox. The automatic variants come with a 4×4 system as standard. The ex-showroom price of the Jeep Compass ranges from Rs 18.99 lakh to Rs 32.41 lakh. The Meridian, on the other hand, is priced between Rs 33.77 lakh and Rs 39.83 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.

In terms of features, the SUV comes with a fully digital 10.2-inch driver display, a 10.1-inch infotainment screen, wireless phone charging, a panoramic sunroof, a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), a 360-degree camera, and an electronic stability control system (ESC). The Compass SUV is available in six different versions: Night Eagle, Sport, Longitude (O), Limited (O), Black Shark, and Model S. In contrast, the Meridian has two core versions: Overland and Limited (O). It is worth noting that the Meridian X is based on the Limited (O) model.

Compass’s rivals are the Tata Harrier and Hyundai Tucson, while Meridian’s rivals are the MG Gloster and Skoda Kodiaq.
