The 8th edition of the JK Tire Orange 4×4 Fury came to life today, setting the stage for a gripping race about courage, machines and nature. The flagship off-road event was inaugurated by Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Shri Chowna Mein and JK Tire Motorsport Head of Operations Hari Singh at the iconic Jinta complex in Namsai.
The race takes place amid the stunning scenery of Dambuk, a quaint and adventurous destination. Over the next three days, 25 teams from across India will push their skills and machines to the limit in one of the most challenging terrains, testing their mettle in the rugged tropical wilderness.
Motorsport and travel platform
The JK Tire Orange 4×4 Fury isn’t just for motorsport; It’s an experience that celebrates adventure travel and cultural vitality. Part of the Orange Adventure & Music Festival, the event combines adrenaline-pumping off-road challenges with live performances and cultural showcases to captivate both participants and spectators.
Highlighting the potential of this unique blend, Shri Chowna Mein said, “We aim to take the festival to an international level next year, integrating the competition with the cultural and natural beauty of Arunachal Pradesh.”

This year’s event attracted top competitors, including defending champions Team MOCCA from Arunachal Pradesh. Multiple time champion Chethan Chengappa from Coorg and his co-driver Sanoj S are among the frontrunners and are expected to make the event more exciting.
Since its inception, the event has become an important calendar highlight for motorsport enthusiasts and the government of Arunachal Pradesh. The race showcases the wild beauty of the region and promotes deeper connections between motorsport and local tourism.
