JSW MG Motor India has launched MG Select, a new brand channel designed to cater to the growing ‘affordable luxury’ market in India. MG Select will feature a new line-up of four luxury cars over the next two years, with the first model expected to be launched in the first quarter of next year. In the initial phase, MG Select plans to set up experience centers in 12 major cities in India. These new showrooms aim to enhance the car buying experience by focusing on high-quality services and carefully selected models. This move is aimed at meeting the growing demand for luxury cars in India and strengthening MG Motor’s position in the market.
Gaurav Gupta, Chief Growth Officer, JSW MG Motor India, shared his thoughts, “The traditional notion of ‘buying’ is changing and Indian consumers are increasingly turning towards affordable luxury. MG Select aims to position itself as a key player in this space by offering premium brand experiences to new-age customers who crave premium brands. Blending personalisation and driven by innovation, the MG Select Experience Centres will offer customers a curated experience that blends culture, hospitality, sustainability, innovation, craftsmanship and the reimagination of luxury.”
