Kawasaki KLX 230 launched in India, priced at Rs.

Kawasaki has launched the KLX 230, a road-legal dual-sport bike for the Indian market. Designed specifically for off-road enthusiasts, the bike delivers ample power for an engaging experience while keeping the curb weight of the bike as low as 139kg. The KLX 230 has a basic body and a nice set of features, taking inspiration from the KX series of off-road vehicles. While the price will be announced by December 2024, interested customers can reserve the bike by paying a deposit of Rs 5,000. Deliveries will begin in January 2025.

Powering the simple Kawasaki KLX 230 is a 233cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The engine is tuned to produce 18bhp at 8,00rpm and peak torque of 18.3Nm at 6,400rpm. The bike is available in two color options: Lime Green and Battle Grey.
