Other developments

While Kawasaki India is yet to confirm it, multiple industry reports suggest that the Japanese manufacturer will launch the new Versys-X 300 in India during the festive season in October. In order to keep prices competitive, the Japanese motorcycle maker is also likely to source many of the motorcycle components like body panels and tyres from local suppliers. For those who are not familiar with the motorcycle, it was sold in India before the implementation of BS6 norms in 2020. In terms of features, the motorcycle is likely to come with dual-channel ABS and a standard semi-digital display. It is also expected to have a noble stance and a masculine front design with elements like tubular handlebars, halogen headlight, glass visor and a contoured one-piece seat. As per previous spy shots, a hardshell luggage setup is likely to be offered as an option.
