“Ken Block’s genius and talent were taken away from all of us too soon,” said Barrett-Jackson Chairman and CEO Craig Jackson. Tsdale took one of his all-wheel-drive cars for a wild ride and then we auctioned it off to charity. This is one of my all-time favorite auction moments that celebrates Ken. An unparalleled spirit throughout his career as a world-class rally driver and professional drift driver. I’m delighted that we have the opportunity to offer this incredible custom truck in January to celebrate Ken’s lasting impact on the motorsports community. This custom truck has a truly remarkable legacy and will be a glorious addition to any collection.”

“Hooniruck” was built by Ken Block and the Hoonigan team in collaboration with Detroit Speed. The popular Gymkhana drift video series took two years to go from idea to reality. It’s powered by a 914-horsepower twin-turbo 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine, sending power to the ground through a custom all-wheel-drive system. It includes a custom 3D-printed intake manifold designed by Ford Performance, visible through the hood, flanked by two turbochargers.

“Ken is a dedicated family man and a top-notch competitor,” said Steve Davis, president of Barrett-Jackson. “He comes from the ‘Ford family,’ driving his father’s Learning to drive in a 1977 Ford F-150 even caused burnout on the car for the first time, which inspired Ken to use an F-150 of the same model and year. Come build the “Hooniruck.” This truck represents every aspect of Ken’s life, from his focus on family to his driving skills and ability to build amazing vehicles.”

The “Hooniruck” sits low and wide, rolling on custom wheels with real beadlock rings, all wrapped in Toyo tires. The cab works like a race car and features a Bosch Motorsport system with a trailer hitch, brake controller, boost control and a screen with Ford Sync.

“Hooniruck” appears in Gymkhana’s TEN movie produced by Hoonigan Media, with Bullock driving a truck along Route 66 in Clover, Texas. It also starred in Climbkhana TWO as part of Bullock’s climb up China’s 5,000-foot Tianmen Mountain Highway.
