Kia EV6 launches in India

First launched in India in 2022, the Kia EV6 has bold and futuristic design features. Now, the 2025 Kia EV6 brings technology and design updates, starting at Rs 65.9 lakh (former showroom).

Kia claims it can be charged from 10-80% of the fee using 350 kw DC quick charge agent in just 18 minutes.

The new Kia EV6 has more than 15 changes compared to the outgoing model. It has a sportier front end that works with the GT line bumper. It has sequential lighting in front and back, which Kia calls “star-shaped graphics-connected DRL” (day running light). In addition to the lighting, Kia also adds an aerodynamic touch to the 19-inch gloss alloy wheels. The interior features a new dual-D cutting steering wheel with hands-on detection technology, and a dual 12.3-inch panoramic curved display.

Kia EV6 comes with the latest ADAS 2.0 package and includes 27 Advanced safety and driver assistance features include five new autonomous features – Connection, intersection, lane change assist, avoidance steering assist and Lane lane follow-up assist. These features help prevent accidents by warning the driver of traffic and vehicles, even in blind spot situations such as at junctions and when lane changes and emergency maneuvers are performed.

In addition to all these updates, Kia has also updated its own “Kia Connect” integration technology. The new Kia Connect 2.0 has an over-the-air update of 34 ECU sensors and a KCD (Kia Connect Diagnostics) for remote vehicle diagnostics. These features help reduce access to the service center.
