Kia Syros HTK, HTK+, HTX, HTX+ (O) and more models

Kia recently launched the Syros compact SUV, but the price of the model has not yet been announced. Pricing in India is set to be announced in early 2025, but for those interested in purchasing the SUV, orders will open on January 3 next year. At launch, Syros will be available in 6 models – HTK, HTK (O), HTK+, HTX, HTX+ and HTX+ (O) – and 8 monotone paint finishes: Pewter Olive, Aurora Black Pearl, Frost Blue, Intense Red, Gravity Grey, Imperial Blue, Sparkling Silver and Glacier White Pearl.

In terms of powertrain, the Syros comes with two options: a 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine and a 1.5-liter diesel engine. The former produces 118 horsepower and 172 Nm of peak torque, while the latter produces 116 horsepower and 250 Nm of peak torque. A six-speed manual transmission is standard, while a six-speed torque converter automatic and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission are optional. The 1.0-litre petrol 6MT is available with HTK, HTK (O), HTK+ and HTX, while the same petrol 7DCT is available with HTK+, HTX, HTX+ and HTX+ (O). As for the diesel engines, the 6MT is available in HTK (O), HTK+ and HTX. HTX+ and HTX+ (O) models also have the option of a 1.5-liter diesel engine with 6AT.
