Kia has released another teaser of its upcoming Syros SUV, which is scheduled to debut on December 19. The teaser shows off the light blue exterior and vertical LED headlights, showcasing the SUV’s sleek and modern design. In Kia’s lineup, the Syros will sit between the Sonet and Seltos. This SUV blends practicality with innovative design elements and is likely to appeal to a wide range of customers. The model will also be showcased at the Bharat Mobile Expo, where its pricing is expected to be announced. As anticipation builds ahead of its official launch, the Syros will become an eye-catching addition to Kia’s lineup, further strengthening the brand’s presence in the highly competitive SUV segment.

The Korean automaker has gradually revealed the features of its upcoming Syros SUV through a series of teasers. As mentioned, the latest teaser highlights important design elements and gives a closer look at the vehicle’s styling. In the teaser, the Syros shows off a bold and modern design, highlighted by vertically stacked cube LED headlights paired with new Fiesta-inspired daytime running lights.
The side profile has unique touches including black C-pillars, flush door handles, square wheel arches and roof rails for a cohesive rear design. Additionally, the rear profile is striking with its boxy structure and L-shaped LED taillights surrounding the rear windshield.

Previous teasers have hinted at premium features such as a two-spoke steering wheel with Kia logo, automatic climate control, panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, floating touch screen, digital instrument cluster, 360-degree camera, car air conditioning, parking sensors, new options gear lever, engine start/stop button, terrain mode and Type-C charging port. The car is also likely to come standard with ISOFIX child seat mounts, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, ventilated front seats, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) suite and six airbags.
Kia Syros: Powertrain
The model is expected to be powered by a 1.0-liter three-cylinder gasoline engine with a maximum power of 118 horsepower and a peak torque of 172 Nm. The mill is available with either a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. There is also the option of a 1.5-litre diesel engine producing 116 hp and 250 Nm of torque, giving potential buyers more options. Kia may introduce electric powertrains in next year’s lineup. Both versions will come in front-wheel drive configuration and be based on the same platform.

The ICE version of the Syros is expected to be priced higher than the Sonet, which starts at Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom). After its launch in India, the car will compete with cars like Nissan Magnite, Toyota Taisor, Skoda Kylaq, Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Hyundai Venue, Tata Curvv and Mahindra XUV 3XO.
