Kim Kardashian's matte grey Tesla Cybertruck is painted, not wrapped
  • The reality star’s electric car features a custom matte grey finish and 26-inch Forgiato wheels.
  • The modified trucks have bumpers and fenders painted to match the body color.
  • The Cybertruck uses adaptive air suspension to lower the body for a more aggressive stance.

Kim Kardashian has more money than she knows what to do with, and she owns a large collection of cars, many of which she has painted the same shade of grey over the past few years. Her latest is a Tesla Cybertruck, which has also been modified to ensure it stands out in the market.

Kim K’s Cybertruck becomes even more eye-catching because it no longer features exposed stainless steel panels. It also doesn’t have Tesla’s wrap or aftermarket vinyl. Instead, this electric pickup has been painted.

Every Cybertruck that rolls out of the Tesla factory uses the same stainless steel parts. Tesla does offer wraps for the car, as do dozens of aftermarket companies, but the paint on Kim’s car makes it unique. Platinum Motorsport hasn’t detailed the process of painting the Cybertruck for the first time, but it likely requires a coat of special primer first to ensure the paint adheres to the smooth panels.

The matte grey finish is very similar to the grey finishes on other cars this model has, including the Lamborghini Urus, Mercedes-Maybach S 580 and Rolls-Royce Phantom.

The truck also features a set of massive 26-inch Forgiato wheels that are part of the Travis Scott collection. These wheels are a solid disc design and come with floating center caps.

You might also notice that this truck sits much lower than the regular Cybertruck. Tesla has equipped this truck with an adaptive air suspension, but even in its lowest setting, we’re not sure it’s really that low. This could be a bit of an optical illusion, though, as the truck’s standard black bumpers, fenders, and side skirts are no longer black, but instead painted to match the rest of the body.
