Make no mistake, this is a series of costly repeated mistakes that serve no purpose

  • A driver of a Lamborghini Urus hit a parking pillar multiple times, damaging the SUV and causing a fluid leak.
  • Despite multiple attempts, the driver was unable to safely cross the simple sidewalk.

No one is a perfect driver 100% of the time – we all have moments when our judgment behind the wheel is questioned. But there are still this The driver of the Lamborghini Urus truly sets a new standard for poor decision-making. They made some poor choices that certainly cost them a lot of money. Sit back and enjoy watching someone take the old adage “if at first it doesn’t work, try, try again” literally.

The video, which has been circulating online, shows the incident taking place on a dark street (the location has not yet been determined). The Urus approaches what appears to be a sidewalk. There are three silver parking posts on the roadway. For unknown reasons, the driver drove the super SUV directly into the middle of the car.

They then backed up, seemed to pause as if wondering what was stopping them, and then drove into it again. Maybe the bollard is too short and the driver can’t see it from inside the car. Regardless, despite these attempts, Lamborghini was unable to make any progress. All they did was damage the car, causing fluid to spill all over the ground.

At this stage they tried at least one more time, this time pulling left and hitting that bollard. News of this recently surfaced on Reddit, with few details about the resolution of the incident. After some digging, it appears the incident actually happened last July, possibly in Pennsylvania.

While it’s interesting to see a very clear statement that money does not equal intelligence, there’s a more sobering message that deserves our attention: This driver’s judgment was terrible. Either that, or they were compromised. The likelihood that they failed to notice a child or even an adult pedestrian is clearly not zero. Still, at least for a brief period of time, they were driving a car weighing approximately 4,700 pounds (2,131 kilograms) or more in public.

There’s no word yet on exactly how this whole situation plays out. As some joked in the Reddit comments section, “Legend has it they’re still working on it today.” Jokes aside, we hope the driver learned from his costly mistake.
