Land Rover touch screen failure leads to 31,000 recalls

January 24, 2025 -The land tiger touch screen failure leads to a recall of more than 31,000 cars, because the central console touch screen may be blank when starting the vehicle.

Land Rover said that the clock scheme in the touch screen does not match the problem.

The recall includes 2023 LAND Rover Discovery Sport, 2023-2024 LAND ROVER Defender and 2023 LAND RANDER RANGE RANGE RANGE RANGE RANGER EVOQUE vehicle.

The loss of the touch screen means losing the image of a backup camera, which is not allowed by federal security standards.

LAND Rover investigated the Center Console touch screen in March 2024 and tested by the supplier. However, the car manufacturer ended the investigation without further action. When the report failed more touch screens, the situation changed, and the investigation was reopened in October 2024.

Land Rover received 1,025 touch screen failure claims and live reports in the United States between April 2023 and November 2024.

Canada recalls about 3,000 cars.

LAND ROVER touch screen recall will be mailed on March 14, 2025. The dealer will update the Center Console touch screen software.
