Stellantis-backed Leapmotor has showcased the first model of its B-series at the ongoing Paris Motor Show. The model, called B10, is a compact electric SUV based on the Leap 3.5 platform. As a global model, the model will be launched in multiple markets next year. It has a closed grille, a large air intake, split headlights with daytime running lights at the front. Flush door handles on both sides help reduce wind noise. The rear of the car uses full-width LED taillights with the Leap Motors logo.
Internal details have not yet been revealed. However, the advanced Leap 3.5 platform is said to offer cutting-edge features such as ADAS (advanced driver assistance systems), customizable digital cockpits and smart driving functions. According to the Chinese EV brand, the new B10 is designed to “meet the needs of tech-savvy, environmentally conscious consumers looking for an electric vehicle that blends style, performance and advanced technology.”

Like the interior, the technical details of the B10 are kept under wraps. The vehicle is expected to get electric and hybrid powertrain options. In the international market, Leapmo B10 will compete with electric SUVs such as BMW iX1, Peugeot E-3008, and Ford Explorer.
Leapmoon C16 also appeared
Also on display along with the B10 is France’s C16 mid-size SUV. Leapmoon C16 is an extended version of the C10 (4,898mm), with a length of 4,915mm. The wheelbase is 2825mm, and the seat layout is 2+2+2. The C16 is available with a single-motor rear-wheel drive unit producing 288bhp and 360Nm of torque. The motor is powered by a 68kWh LFP battery that can charge from 30% to 80% in 15 minutes.

Other highlights include battery-to-chassis technology, 800V architecture and a 15.4-inch display for rear-seat passengers.
