Lime Venue Portfolio is launching the second part of its ESG (environmental, social and governance) event planning guide series. Published over a period of 12 months, the guide covers all elements of ESG and provides a practical framework for member venues and event organizers. Following the launch of the “E” (Environmental) Guidelines in November, the upcoming “S” (Society) Guidelines will be unveiled for the first time at the international conference. The initiative supports a wider ESG strategy aimed at promoting sustainability, social impact and legacy of activity across the industry.
As part of the event, Lime Venue Portfolio will host a signature roundtable with event agency leaders at the international conference on February 26-27, focusing on social responsibility, social enterprise and legacy building. In addition, its leadership team will host a high-profile panel discussion on social responsibility and sustainable legacy to share insights on ESG guidelines. The final guidance in the series focuses on governance (“G”) and is expected to be published in June 2025.
Further underscoring its commitment to advancing the industry, Lime Venue Portfolio is a major sponsor of the International Conference People and Culture Theater, co-developing a program of engaging content with the Diversity Alliance. The company also partnered with EventWell to sponsor quiet rooms, while providing a relaxing seating area at its booth to guide visitors to the spaces. These efforts reflect Lime Venue Portfolio’s dedication to neurodiversity and mental health, building on the launch of the Neurodiversity Toolkit in partnership with Stress Matters in June.
Jo Austin, Head of Sustainability for Meetings and Events at Compass UK&I and Sales Director of Lime Venue Portfolio, said: “This series is designed to provide practical, actionable resources – from templates for tackling food waste to strategies for showcasing sustainability initiatives at events. We I believe these guidelines will be transformative for event organizers.”
Attendees of the international conference will have an exclusive opportunity to download the “S” Guide and discuss all things ESG with Lime Venue Portfolio representatives.
After the event, the guide will also be available for download from the content center at www.limevenueportfolio.com.
