London’s unique venues enter the next stage of development

London’s renowned Unique Places (UVL) collective recently unveiled its exciting new visual logo and website. As the event industry continues to grow, the brand’s development reflects the prestige, diversity and essentially personal nature of its member venues, and is also aligned with the ever-changing needs of planners.

The consortium was founded in 1993 as an “independent functional place” with 18 members, and was renamed as a unique place in London five years later. Today, it forms over 80 internationally sought after locations for corporate and private events, providing an unparalleled choice for the most important historical, contemporary, academic and cultural venues in the capital.

For more than 30 years, UVL has provided its members with a leadership platform that creates opportunities for collaboration, education, innovation and community development. For event planners, it offers a priceless custom venue that is available for free.

Adapting to the latest industry trends, as well as changing audience needs and expectations, the website was designed by Moore-Wilson to enhance the user experience. With improved search capabilities and access to the most relevant information, the new site is an important resource for exploring a wide selection of London’s best curated unique venues.

Lisa Hatswell, managing director of UVL, commented: “As the bike journey is in its fourth decade since our inception, we are delighted with what UVL has achieved. Working with Reggie London, we have created new and modern deviations from our former visual identity, reflecting our growth, diversity and status as an industry-leading collective. With the increasing expectation that a unique event for planners, our new shoulder strap “Discution Disc” perfectly conveys the nature and value of our venue, bringing these memorable experiences into life. We would like to thank Reggie London and Moore-Wilson for executing our vision and patch marketing for support for launch.”

The new brand and website launch has added six new UVL members in 2024: Chelsea Physical Gardens, Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery, Young V&A, Library of London, Shaftesbury Theatre and HAC. The National Army Museum is the latest member to join in January 2025.
