  • The SUV will be available with 1.5-liter turbocharged and 2.0-liter turbocharged plug-in hybrid powertrains.
  • Lynk & Co decorated the 900’s interior with luxurious materials and added a host of technology.
  • The Geely-owned brand has yet to announce pricing details for the 900.

Just a week after Lynk & Co previewed its new flagship SUV, the six-seat SUV has been fully unveiled. Called the 900, it’s expected to go on sale in China in March and will be available in three different plug-in hybrid options. Pricing has yet to be confirmed, and the brand has yet to announce whether it will be available in other markets as well.

Visually, the 900 shares some styling cues with other Lynk & Co models. At the front are sharp LED daytime running lights, while the main headlights are located below the bumper. From the side, the 900 looks a bit like a Range Rover. Although the front is quite unique, the rear is very ordinary, with a large tailgate and simple slender taillights connected to the light bar.

Perhaps the most attractive part of the SUV is its cabin. In recent years, many automakers have begun adopting a single display that encompasses the instrument cluster and infotainment screen. Lynk & Co has done something a little unique.

Screens, more screens and refrigerators

The most eye-catching feature on the dashboard is the 30-inch 6K floating display that houses the infotainment system and passenger display. Behind the steering wheel is a 12.66-inch thin instrument cluster and head-up display.

Elsewhere, the Lynk & Co 900 comes with two wireless smartphone charging pads, a two-spoke steering wheel, ambient lighting and floating armrests on the door panels. Screens extend into the second row, with a small display on the back of the center console and a second 30-inch 6K display that folds down from the headliner. Additionally, second-row passengers have access to a slide-out refrigerator.

All versions of the 900 ride on Geely’s SPA Evo platform and are 5,240 mm (206.2 inches) long, 1,999 mm (78.7 inches) wide and 1,810 mm (71.2 inches) high. According to Lynk & Co, the 900 also has a generous 3,160 mm (124.4 in) wheelbase and class-leading headroom and legroom.

Plenty of PHEV power, from 710 hp to 845 hp

The entry-level model uses a plug-in hybrid setup with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine paired with a 215 hp (160 kW) front electric motor and a 308 hp (230 kW) rear electric motor for a total output of 710 hp (530 kW).

There are also two PHEVs available with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The first model is equipped with a 165 hp (123 kW) electric motor at the front and a 308 hp (230 kW) electric motor at the rear, for a total of 724 hp (540 kW).

The second top version also features a 165 hp (123 kW) front motor and a pair of 215 hp (160 kW) rear motors for a total output of 845 hp (630 kW). It’s unclear how far these models can travel on battery power alone, but the most powerful model can reportedly hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in an impressive 4 seconds.
