Made-in-India garage architecture gives off serious sports car vibes

Aftermarket car modification shops have become extremely popular over the past few years

The Made in India garage built an impressive vehicle with a unique sports car appeal. Over the past few years, India has become the home of extremely detailed customization. While most of them are modifications of stock cars, converted into another vehicle, etc., this latest one is something completely different. A special car factory builds a complete vehicle from the ground up with sports car features, specs and looks. Let’s take a look at the details here.

Garage-built sports car made in India

The details of this story come from sss_design_hub on Instagram. They call it Celibra Sports. In fact, this is an announcement for the car, which is expected to go on sale in 2025-26. Externally, the front fascia houses a prominent LED headlight cluster with integrated LED DRLs and turn indicators. There is a grille section in the center with the company logo. The floating hood culminates in angular fog light housings with a splitter in the middle. Additionally, it has a glass roof and Lamborghini-like rear.

The rear end also contains a glass structure. On the side, we see a two-door layout, a clear callback to the sports car. Additionally, there are huge alloy wheels with black paint on the front fenders and body graphics. Finally, at the back we see a large spoiler mounted on the trunk lid. It spelled out the car’s name – Celibra Sports. Finally, the red and black exterior color theme is the perfect reflection of the sports car. Note that this is a prototype model and we’ll see a production-spec version in the coming months.

Specification

What I find particularly interesting is what’s under the hood. Information on their Instagram account shows that this is a 5.2-liter V8 gasoline engine capable of producing 295 horsepower. Matched with a 7-speed automatic transmission, the 0-100 km/h acceleration time is only 2.8 seconds. It rides on 18-inch alloy wheels and has a fuel tank capacity of 83 liters. Additionally, it features air suspension and a hard-top convertible mechanism for a smooth ride quality. Finally, it also comes with frameless scissor doors and ADAS for active safety capabilities. I’ll be keeping an eye out for more details going forward.
