Mahindra to auction first Thar ROXX for charity

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. has announced the auction of the first Thar ROXX. This exclusive auction will allow the highest bidder to own the Thar ROXX with Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) 0001, while the proceeds will be donated to charity. Mahindra will match the winning bidder to double the impact of the donation.

Online Auction Details

The auction registration will be opened on the carandbike.com auction platform on September 12, 2024. The bidding will be conducted online from 5 pm on September 15 to 7 pm on September 16, 2024. Mahindra First Choice Wheels (MFCW) will oversee the auction process and EY will monitor the entire process to ensure transparency.

A unique opportunity for collectors and enthusiasts

The Thar ROXX holds special significance as it is Mahindra’s first ‘THE’ SUV and the VIN 0001 makes it an exclusive collector’s item. Additionally, the car will come with unique badges bearing Anand Mahindra’s signature, further appealing to enthusiasts.

The auction winner will receive an AX7L Diesel Automatic 4×4 Thar ROXX, available in seven striking colour options: Deep Forest, Everest White, Tango Red, Battleship Grey, Nebula Blue, Ochre or Stealth Black.

Proceeds from the auction will be donated to a social cause of the winning bidder’s choice. Winning bidders can donate directly to any recognized non-profit organization or choose from Mahindra’s selected partners:
