Completely –

Mahindra is about to expand its electric vehicle lineup in India, and the Xev 7e may be one of its main upcoming launches

The Mahindra Xev 7e shares its foundation with the BE 6 and XEV 9E and will benefit from the versatile Inglo platform that is expected to deliver high-performance, latest technology and modular battery configurations. Although details are still in the package, the XEV 7E is expected to be launched in India this year and it is certainly one of the new era Mahindra EVSs.

Mahindra’s focus on premium materials and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) may also make it one of the most abundant electric SUVs in its field. Given the brand’s recent emphasis on high-performance electric vehicles, the XEV 7E may offer dual-sport AWD capabilities, but no official confirmation has been made.

The XEV 7E is expected to draw inspiration from the XUV.E8 concept with a closed grille, signature LED DRL and air-optimized wheels. Judging from the leaked images, the rear profile appears to have obtained a full-width LED strip and engraved tailgate. Inside, it will have ventilated seats, premium interior and a panoramic sunroof.

The Mahindra Xev 7E is expected to be equipped with a three-screen layout that combines a large infotainment touch screen with a fully digital instrument console. The interior will feature advanced features including automatic climate control, a tailgate and many other high-end comforts.

The E-SUV distinguishes itself by designing unique wheels and redesigned bumpers, and the after-styling can be strongly cues from the on-ice-powered XUV700. In terms of performance, a 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery pack option is expected to be available to reflect the XEV 9E and 6 configurations.

The electric SUV is equipped with a high-density LFP battery battery, which can provide a range of more than 500 km per charge. The Mahindra Xev 7E is loyal to the concept of Xuv.e8, while combining subtle designs to distinguish it from the Xev 9e. By contrast, the XEV 9E’s hat-mounted logo sets it apart, making it more sporty and aggressive.
