Mansory’s Purosangue proves you can always build a Ferrari

Mansory heard you liked fender flares, so they put the fender flares on top of the fender flares

Mansory's Purosangue shows you can make a Ferrari louder and uglier
  • Mansory has launched a comprehensive tuning kit for the Ferrari Purosangue.
  • The Mansory Pugnator showcases a forged carbon fiber exterior and a custom interior.
  • The V12 engine’s power is slightly increased to 745 hp thanks to the sports exhaust system.

It took Mansory longer than expected to unveil its take on the Ferrari Purosangue, but the Bavarian tuner has finally unveiled the car to suit the exclusive tastes of its wealthy clientele. The Mansory Pugnator is a “full modification” of the super crossover, featuring radical visual modifications, new wheels, and a modest performance boost for those who find the stock Purosangue just not flashy or loud enough.

Pugnator, derived from the Latin word for “competitor,” features a custom body kit in forged carbon fiber, color-matched to the car’s Vermillion livery. If you were expecting to see Ferrari branding, don’t worry. Mansory has swapped out the iconic Prancing Horse logo for its own badge. As you can imagine, the plans for this car aren’t subtle.

Fender flares are located above the fender flares

The oversized additions and oversized air intakes on the front bumper may look like glitches in a bad design software demo, but Mansory insists they “significantly improve” downforce at the front axle. The body is covered in fins, creases and air intakes, giving the Pugnator that signature “Mansory-enhanced” look. Love it or hate it, you can’t go wrong with it.

The hood is made entirely of carbon fiber, which complements the wheel arch extensions, fender-mounted vents, massive side gills, and faux side air intakes mounted on the rear doors. The rear doesn’t offer much relief to the eyes either, with a massive diffuser housing four exhaust pipes, a forged carbon rear fascia, and a rear wing that’s big enough to rival an airplane spoiler.

The Pugnator rides on new FC.5 one-piece forged alloy wheels, measuring 22 inches at the front and 23 inches at the rear. Mansory plans to offer the wheels in a variety of colors and sizes for its other products, but how well they’ll improve the driving experience remains to be seen. High-performance tires are part of the package, but there’s no word on suspension tuning. Apparently, even Mansory has its limits.

Ferrari’s 6.5-liter V12 engine already produces a strong 715 hp (533 kW / 725 PS) and 715 Nm (528 lb-ft) from the factory, but Mansory wouldn’t be Mansory without some tuning. The tuners have given the V12 a slight boost with an ECU remap, a new exhaust system with flap control and sports catalytic converters, bringing output to 745 hp (555 kW / 755 PS) and 730 Nm (538 lb-ft). It’s a small upgrade, but enough to make you feel a little more special when you’re stuck in Monaco traffic.

Ivory leather and Mansory badges can be found everywhere

Inside, the cabin is wrapped in ivory leather with red accents and matching carbon fiber trim. The seats, armrests, and door panels are all reupholstered with a new perforated pattern. The tuner even threw in aluminum pedals, quilted floor mats, and, of course, plenty of Mansory badges. If these customizations aren’t enough for you, rest assured that every Pugnator can be tailored to the owner’s every desire.

Mansory has not yet revealed the price of the Pugnator, but considering its usual “no shortage of money” principle, it is expected to cost as much as a small island. The modified Ferrari Purosangue made its debut at the Monaco Yacht Show and it is sure to catch the attention of those who want to outdo their neighbor’s latest supercar purchase.
