
Maruti Tour is based on the new Dzire and is available in the gasoline and gasoline + CNG variants
Maruti Suzuki has launched its latest Tour S, designed primarily for cab and team operators. According to the fourth-generation Dzire, the new Tour S is available in petrol and CNG versions for Rs. Petrol model and Rs 6.79 lakh. CNG version of Rs 77.4 lakh (former showroom).
The updated Tour S has an updated front design including a revised grille and re-covered headlights. To distinguish itself, the cab-centric model comes with black ORVM, black door handles and 14-inch steel wheels instead of alloy wheels.
The Tour S is based on entry-level LXI trim as a budget-friendly option. As a result, the interior remains functional but minimalist, providing features such as power windows, manual air conditioning systems, adjustable steering wheel, central locking with speed sensing door locks and analog instrument panels.
Under the hood, the Tour S is powered by Maruti Suzuki’s new 1.2-liter 3-cylinder petrol engine. It produces 80.4 bhp and 111.7 nm of torque and is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. When running on CNG, the power output drops to 69 bhp and 101.8 nm of torque.
In terms of efficiency, Maruti Suzuki claims the gasoline model’s fuel economy is 26.06 km/l, while the CNG version’s fuel economy has an impressive 34.30 km/kg, making it a cost-effective for commercial operators.
With its actual features, increased efficiency and competitive prices, new tours remain a viable option for fleets and taxi service providers seeking reliable and economical vehicles.
