

India’s largest automaker Maruti Suzuki reported its March 2025 sales results and full fiscal year 2024-25, showing continued growth across key segments. In March 2025, the company sold a total of 1,92,984 units, up from 1,87,196 units in March 2024, with a modest growth each year.

The majority of monthly sales come from the domestic passenger car sector, with Maruti Suzuki sending 1,50,743 units compared to 1,52,718 units a year ago. Maruti Suzuki’s highest annual sales in the entire fiscal year from April 2024 to March 2025 were 2,234,266 units, up from 2,135,323 of 2,135,323 units.

In the domestic passenger car space, the company sold 1,760,767 units, almost matching the 1,759,881 units sold last year. The compact segment (Baleno, Swift, Dzire, etc.) maintained a 770,737 driver volume, although a slight decline from 828,015 units in the previous year. Despite some softness in Van and LCV sales, Maruti Suzuki’s diversified portfolio, strong export strategy and expanded utility vehicle lineup have helped the brand maintain its leadership in the Indian auto market.
