Maruti Suzuki showcases 7 special edition concept cars at auto show

Maruti Suzuki may have stolen the limelight at the Auto Expo 2025 with the launch of the E Vitara, but that’s not the only thing they have in store for us. They also launched special edition concepts for 7 models, namely Jimny, Grand Vitara, Brezza, Fronx, Swift, Invicto and Dzire. Each model has its own unique flavor, so let’s take a closer look.

Jimny Expedition concept car

The most outstanding special edition is the Maruti Suzuki Jimny Expedition Concept. The Jimny was launched to cater to customers who want a lifestyle off-road vehicle experience. The concept is finished in a Desert Sand matte color scheme, with “Jimny” and “4X4” written in bold text on the rear door and some of the windows. Equipped with all-terrain tires, it looks like it can take the SUV anywhere. Not to mention, the concept also comes with a variety of off-road gear, such as a winch and shovel placed on the rear-mounted spare tire. You’ll also find the same Desert Sand Matte shade on the roof rails and wheels!

Grand Vitara Adventure Edition

Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Adventure Edition is a rugged and versatile version designed for those who crave exploration and excitement. Designed to conquer any terrain, the Adventure Edition features AllGrip graphics so you can tackle challenging surfaces with confidence. Its bold design features unique adventure elements such as roof rails, skid plates and blacked-out alloy wheels. Overall, the Grand Vitara Adventure offers a perfect blend of performance and efficiency, making it an ideal companion for long-distance road trips and off-road adventures.

Brezza Powerplay Concept

Maruti Suzuki Brezza Powerplay is a special edition of the Brezza SUV that is tailor-made to provide a sporty and dynamic driving experience. Designed specifically for enthusiasts, it combines bold aesthetics with bronze accents to make a lasting impression on the road. The Powerplay Edition features unique exterior highlights such as unique “Brezza” decals, front and rear bumper extensions and blacked-out ORVMs that enhance its aggressive stance.

Fronx turbine concept car

The Maruti Fronx Turbo Concept is based on the 1.0 Turbo engine available in the stylish crossover. It’s got silver paint on the sides and even the front hood, with unique “Turbo” decals, giving away that it’s turbocharged. The unique styling doesn’t stop there, with highlights such as a red grille, black alloy wheels and ORVMs. It would also be cool to see some power upgrades if this concept becomes a reality!

Swift Champion Edition Concept

One of the most interesting of the concepts showcased was the Swift Champions Edition. The paint job is very similar to Lightning McQueen’s Rusteze paint job in Cars. The Championship Edition comes in an exciting red and contrasting burgundy paint job with some special decals for a sporty look! There are plenty of exterior touches, such as a black roof, rear spoiler, sportier front and rear bumpers, and black alloy wheels. The burgundy color looks exciting with “Swift” written on it with a white and yellow border. Does this mean we’re finally seeing an RS/Sports version of the Swift?

Invicto execution philosophy

The Maruti Suzuki Invicto, which is based on the Toyota HyCross, also gets a luxury upgrade with the brand launching the concept with beige leather interior. Criticism of the standard Maruti Suzuki Invicto comes from the fact that it is offered in darker interior colours, which gives it a durable look rather than one that creates a luxurious environment. The center console area, side air conditioning vents and door cards are finished in bronze.

Dzire urban luxury concept

Maruti Suzuki Dzire has also been launched in Urban Luxe variant which comes with accessories like chrome grille bezel, chrome body side moldings and some embellishments on the rear bumper. Overall, it makes the Dzire’s look more mature in feel. This concept adds a touch of luxury to those groups who find the handsome designs of ordinary designs a bit too sporty.

Conclusion

These concepts should cater to buyers who want more from their favorite brands! The Swift Champions Edition is suitable for the boy racers in the family, while the Invicto Executive Edition and Dzire Urban Luxe should appeal to the older generation who want a more comfortable experience. The Suzuki Jimny Expedition brings a new level of excitement to the brand’s lifestyle SUVs, and we want to see it go into production!
