Celebrating the excellence of live events
The Canadian Event Awards have long been a beacon of excellence, celebrating the professionals who have created extraordinary experiences, thus shaping Canada’s cultural and economic structure. This year, the program expanded its impact, launching new award categories to honor emerging talent and lifelong contributions to the industry.

New awards reflect industry trends and emerging majors
This year’s award category reflects the evolving landscape of live events and the growing experiential marketing. The Experiential and Brand Activation categories see record entries highlighting how brands can connect with their audiences using immersive storytelling and engagement.

Academic institutions and municipal event categories surged in submissions, demonstrating the industry’s use of live events as a powerful platform for participation and communication within the community.

“The level of creativity, resilience and innovation in this submission is really encouraging,” said Stacy Wyatt, Creative Director of Special Events in Canada.
“From cutting-edge activity production to groundbreaking sustainability programs, this competition continues to push boundaries and redefine possibilities in our industry.”

Judgment process and grand celebration
The Canadian Event Awards are well-known for their rigorous, merit-based judgment process, and industry experts evaluate submissions based on innovation, problem solving, design and execution, and overall impact.

The final judgment will be held from March 23 to 30, 2025, and the winners will be held at the Canadian Event Awards Gala on April 30. Universal event space,,,,, Depend on Peter and Paul’s Hotel Group And produce E = MC² Event.

The party is CSE Live – The person who plans activities,,,,, Happened in Toronto’s Great Canadian Casino Resort. More than 1,500 event professionals will gather to attend festival-style trade shows, thought leadership conferences and immersive network experiences. Tickets can be purchased here.

The award spans 50 categories to commemorate the best in event design, production, experiential marketing and innovation. The program is owned and produced by the Canadian Special Events Magazine and culminates in the Canadian Event Awards Gala every year.
