On Wednesday, the German car brand launched the 2024 Cooper S hatchback and Countryman Electric to the Indian market. The launch will strengthen Mini India’s product lineup. Mini India’s current product portfolio includes the Cooper SE, 3-door Cooper hatchback, and Countryman.
Cooper
There’s a new 9.4-inch touchscreen in the center of the dashboard, serving as the focal point of the basic yet stylish interior.
The new Cooper S has been given a revised look, including a larger octagonal grille at the front and triangular taillights connected by a black band. The bulky air intakes and fog lights have been removed, and the front and rear bumpers have been improved for aerodynamics. The car’s plastic wheel arches and distinctive round headlights have all been retained.

With all these stats and a front-wheel drive layout, Mini claims a 0-100kph time of 6.6 seconds.

Countryman Electric
The Countryman gets the same 9.4-inch touchscreen as the Cooper S mounted on its dashboard.
Mini enters the Indian electric SUV market with the 2024 Countryman Electric. Extensive body cladding gives it a tough look, and its aerodynamic design includes a closed grille and aerodynamic wheels. A silver skid plate, vertical LED taillights and the iconic ‘COUNTRYMAN’ badge complete the rear design.
The Countryman Electric’s 66.5 kWh battery pack provides a maximum range of 462 kilometers when fully charged according to WLTP regulations. A 204 PS electric motor drives the front wheels. A DC fast charger can fully charge the battery from 10 to 80 percent in just 29 minutes. Another option is the international version with 313 PS power and a dual-motor all-wheel drive system.
