Now that we finally know what the new Alcazar will look like, let’s compare its exterior to the pre-facelift model and see what has changed.
New Hyundai Alcazar vs. old model: front
The new Alcazar model is bolder than the more conventional-looking previous generation. It features a revised bumper with a pronounced skid plate, a flat new grille with horizontal slats, and a radar sensor mounted on the front bumper, indicating the inclusion of ADAS features. The upgraded Alcazar also includes H-shaped LED daytime running lights connected by an LED light bar and quad-beam LED headlights. In comparison, the previous generation model had dual-barrel projector headlights and split LED daytime running lights.
New Hyundai Alcazar vs. old model: side view
From the side, the SUV looks almost similar to its predecessor, except for the new 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. Also, the roof rails now feature a new dual-tone design.
New Hyundai Alcazar vs. old model: rear
The new Hyundai SUV now features connected LED taillights with the word “Alcazar” printed below them, and an upgraded bumper with a silver skid plate. In comparison, the taillights of the outgoing model were connected by a chrome strip with the “Alcazar” logo. In addition, the revised Alcazar also features a redesigned roof spoiler and slightly longer high-mounted brake lights. However, the dual exhaust pipes remain unchanged from the outgoing model.
