Furthermore, the Barcelona match will also mark a big moment for Alex Espargaro. Espargaro, who had originally planned to retire in Valencia, will now bid farewell to full-time MotoGP racing on his home circuit. At the end of the season, Espargaro will transition into a new role as HRC test and wildcard driver.
