MotoGP: Barcelona GP confirmed as season finale, Martin and

The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya will host the final round of the 2024 MotoGP season on November 17, having previously hosted the sixth round in May.

The final race of the 2023 MotoGP season will take place next week at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona, ​​replacing the flood-damaged Circuit de Valencia. The title battle between Ducati’s Francesco Bagnaia and Pramac Racing’s Jorge Martin will intensify. Two-time world champion Bagnaya narrowed the gap on Martin by winning the Malaysian Grand Prix last weekend. The Spaniard only needs to win the sprint race on November 16 to seal the title. Furthermore, the Barcelona match will also mark a big moment for Alex Espargaro. Espargaro, who had originally planned to retire in Valencia, will now bid farewell to full-time MotoGP racing on his home circuit. At the end of the season, Espargaro will transition into a new role as HRC test and wildcard driver.
