MotoGP: Gresini Ducati launches new livery Alex Marquez

The Gresini Ducati team has unveiled its 2025 MotoGP livery at the iconic Imola circuit. This year marks Gresini’s fourth year as an independent team, following a successful partnership with Aprilia from 2015 to 2021. Imola brought a new look to the team, with a redesigned livery that was less red than last season’s. Gresini continues to work with Ducati and will field a strong rider line-up including Alex Marquez and rookie Fermin Aldeguer. After an impressive 2024 season, in which Marquez won three Grand Prix races and finished third in the championship, Gresini is ready for another successful season in 2025.

Gresini Racing team boss Nadia Padovani said: “We are bidding farewell to a great 2024 and heading into an exciting 2025 with great motivation. MotoGP: Gresini Ducati riders

Alex Marquez has extended his contract with Gresini Racing MotoGP by a further two years, keeping him at the team until 2026. This follows a strong 2024 season, finishing eighth in the drivers’ championship and joining his brother Marc on the podium at Sachsenring.

The Marquez brothers helped Gresini finish third in the constructors’ standings, ahead of the likes of VR46 Ducati and the factory teams of Aprilia and KTM. With Marc switching to the Ducati factory team, Gresini brought in Fermin Aldegger to fill the second seat. After three successful seasons in Moto2, Aldegger was promoted to MotoGP.

Under the leadership of Alex Marquez, Gresini Racing aims to build on its success, support Aldeguer’s growth and remain competitive in the MotoGP championship.

The Ducati factory team will kick off the 2025 season on January 20 in Italy with Marc Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia.
